Peyton is 22 months old!
He is such a sweet little boy and is really trying to talk a lot recently. He is repeating a lot of things, but still mumbles a good bit. We have heard a few times that he sounds like a little minion. Not many other people besides Michael and I can understand what he says. I have been surprised that he rarely says the word "no." That is normally such a big word for a child this age, but he is such an agreeable little guy that his favorite word seems to be "yeah." In fact he barely uses the word no and prefers "yeah."
I could literally just eat him up. Isn't he adorable!?!?
He must have been growing because he has been taking some nice long weekend naps. He is also getting his last 2 molars in, which I'm sure is making him tired as well.
One of his favorite things to do is cuddle and watch a movie at night. He frequently asks if he can watch a few minutes of a movie before bedtime. He jumps on the couch (or the bed) and pulls the blankets up to his chin and snuggles up next to you. Absolutely adorable! His favorite movie is frozen or despicable me.
First night in the big boy bed. It lasted all of 5 minutes! He read books with Michael and then decided he was NOT going to sleep in the big boy bed!
He still cries at drop off every day for school, but the teachers tell me he has the best time all day and is so happy! He loves to pick out his t-shirt every day for school and is pretty insistent on what he is wearing. So you will notice that in most all of our pictures he is wearing a minion shirt or a mickey mouse shirt. Here are a few pictures I received from his teachers at school.
He also LOVES to take a shower! Patrick is still terrified of the shower, but not this little guy. He begs to take one and it is so funny because he is just so small in there!
He also really loves to take a bath. Most the time Patrick and Peyton fight over who gets to be in the front so we bathe them separately. This time though they were so happy to take a bath together.
Kisses and giggles
I love you Peyton! You are just such a joy in our lives!
