Beach Pictures/Conor's 3 Month Pictures

I wasn't able to schedule Conor's 3 month pictures at home, so I decided we would try and do them while we are at the beach. Well the photographer I originally scheduled who seemed to have a lot of experience with children backed out.  So I went with another photographer last minute. And although I think he was very nice, he did not seem to have any experience with children. He asked that we kneel in the water, not splash and look directly into the sun... what?!? You expect a 4 year old, 2 year old and 3 month old to stare directly into the sun, smile and not splash water everywhere...umm yeah right. He was so intent on getting this one photograph that we did that for like 30 minutes which wore the boys out and they were in a terrible mood after that. On top of that, Peyton accidentally threw sand in Conor's eyes so I didn't get a single photo of Conor who the whole picture taking was for. Oh well...it's the season of life we are in and these photographs with no one looking at the camera captures that I guess :)

I am glad that we ended up doing it, because we did get a couple good photos after we tried to suggest some ideas to the photographer. Also, just to give photo credit, some of the photo's are Sharon's that she took of the boys as well. So here is what we were able to get.

I was hoping for a better family picture, but this is the only one we got that has Patrick yawning...oh well

LOVE this one of my precious boys

My big 4 year old

Peyton wouldn't sit still long enough for a non-action picture

Awkward family photo winner?

LOVE how much these two love their little brother. Totally unprompted pictures. They just love to hug and kiss on him

Isle of Palms 2015

We take an annual trip to Isle of Palms every year with the Clancy family. This year there were 36 of us, with 9 children 4 and under. We all stay in one house so it can be a little nuts! We had a great time!

Our house with Mamaw Clancy outside

Michael drove the two big boys and Conor and I flew. Michael definitely had the hardest job driving those two crazy boys! But they all made it and Conor was so great for his first flight!

Ready for my first swim!

Denton happened to be staying a few houses down for a bachelorette party, so we took a walk to go see Aunt Denton on Sunday

We took nightly beach strolls along the beach and found lots of fun things

Me and my precious little buddy

Peyton LOVES birds and airplanes and got so excited each time we saw one!

Playing with uncle Matt

Three cousins running on the beach. Such a pretty view

Love how sweet Peyton is with Conor

Nana and three of her grandsons

More nightly strolls

I swear Peyton must hear music in his head all the time, because he just dances and bops around :)

The "big" kids. The three babies, Cade, Conor and Brooks aren't in this one

More nightly "walks" on the beach

My happy little buddy

Giggling at daddy

Peyton loved the ocean. Harper and Peyton had fun playing and jumping over the waves

Pure joy

Love this happy little guy

Patrick is really sensitive to light, noise, etc. So the beach was a little too much for Patrick and he pretty much stayed under the tent when we went to the beach.

I can picture him in his teenager years just lounging at the beach :)

Trucks and water....this boy was in heaven

Those curls!

Pool time

Enjoying some popsicles with cousins

Aunt Kim holding Brooks and Conor

These two boys loved to fall asleep in Nana's bed together

It was a fun trip! So glad the boys get to know their cousins so well. When we got home Patrick said he was very lucky because he had such a big family. Hope these boys always remembers the people who love them in their life!
