Basketball

I don't think I took a single picture of the kids playing basketball this year! Patrick played on 2 teams. He played his first year with Saint Henry and then a rec league with WNSL. Peyton played on a WNSL team. We were busy with 3 games every Saturday! Hopefully next year i'll have more time to chase pictures and spend less time chasing two toddlers around a gym!

Caitie's 2nd Birthday

Caitie's birthday was a rainy and cold Thursday. I wanted to do something fun with the two little kids, so we decided to go to the Adventure Science Museum.

We played for a couple hours and then ate at the Subway. It was really packed with school field trips, but we still had a great time.

Daddy got home from work early and gave Caitie her present. He got her a real pearl necklace that he can add to each year for her birthday or special occasions.

We decided to have a small birthday celebration that night after Patrick's basketball practice. We were excited to celebrate our sweet girl!

We tried a new milkshake bar called Gracie's Milkshake Bar. We ordered a bunch of french fries and milkshakes and sang to our sweet girl!

She got a music box from Allie. She really loves jewelry, so it was a perfect gift for her!

The kids were full of sugar, so they ran around afterwards.

We went home and took a few little photos of our birthday girl.

We loved celebrating you, Caitie. Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Matthew's Family Birthday

Matthew came in town to visit the family. He came to all the kids basketball games and they were so excited to have him there. Patrick's first game was at St. Edward at 8am. So we stopped for some donuts after the game. None of the kids had ever been to Krispy Kreme donuts. They were excited to see how the donuts were made.

We celebrated Matthew's birthday the day after Valentine's Day with the family.

The kids played Bingo with Nana to get their Valentine's day surprises.

Caitie wanted the whip cream that went on top of the cheesecake. It was definitely her favorite part.

Then the kids learned about Mark's new hockey hobby.

It was a fun night celebrating uncle Matt.
