Lake Day

We headed to the lake for a day with the boys cousins. They had a great time tubing and hanging out on the boat!

It was a fun day!

12th South Nashville Mural Tour

We have been daily walks around the neighborhood every day. We decided to switch it up a bit and walk around 12th South. I made a list of murals and the kids had fun finding each one and then taking a picture. We tried to make it a little like a scavenger hunt. 

We stopped at the Five Daughters walk up window to get a little treat halfway through the walk. I was delicious!

We stopped at Edley's to eat. We were all pretty nervous to eat at a restaurant, but since this one was outside, we felt pretty comfortable. However, we didn't even think about it being the first time the kids saw lots of people in masks, so it was a little confusing for them. After our fun afternoon we stopped at a friends house to play outside on the slip-n-slide. It was a really fun afternoon!

First Weekend of Summer

Quarantine was starting to go into Phase 1 the day school was out, so we decided to get together with some friends and celebrate the end of school. 

We gathered at the steeplechase and the kids had a blast running around and playing with their friends.

On Saturday we went to a fun driveway movie party with a couple other families. It was a blast! Unfortunately, this was the only picture we took.

On Sunday, we went swimming at Nana's house. 

It was the most fun weekend with friends and much needed after being in quarantine for about 8 weeks!

Quarantine and Homeschool Weeks 7 and 8

The last two weeks of homeschool! This little girl, did whatever she wanted the entire time! She was quite the handful every day while trying to teach the other ones.

SO. MUCH. MINECRAFT. While I was teaching one of the boys, the other two boys would be playing minecraft nonstop.

We got out for the first time on Cinco de Mayo and went to the Ellen's. We stayed outside and the kids had a blast seeing a few friends and running around.

The kids had so much fun, they fell asleep.

After the last day of school the kids went to turn in their books at St. Henry. They were really nervous to wear the masks. They didn't end up wearing them in the school because they all felt like they couldn't breathe. It was sad to have to put masks on little children :(

We finished homeschool! Yay!!!
