Peyton's third birthday happened to fall on the day we had planned to travel for Spring Break. We spent the morning packing and getting ready for our trip. I was feeling a little sorry for our sweet little middle child, so we decided to try and squeeze in something fun before heading out of town. It's not often that Peyton gets to pick what to do, since older brother normally has a big say :) When we asked what special thing he wanted to do for his big day, he jumped up and down and said bouncy house, bouncy house!
So we finished packing our car and headed towards the bouncy house! We got into the bouncy house around 12:20, not knowing that it closed from 1-2pm for lunch. They ended up letting is in for free since it was Peyton's birthday and we would have so little jump time. Conor was asleep in the car, so just Patrick, Peyton and I headed to bounce. They had a blast! It ended up being the perfect amount of jump time for these two!
Patrick convinced Peyton to go down head first and he loved it! About 6 months ago Peyton was terrified of going down the slide. He has grown up so much in the past few months!
Mom, I did it!!!
Trying out a little baseball
He fell asleep in the parking lot of the bouncy house before even eating his sandwich! And we were off to Knoxville.
We planned to stay at Michael's grandparent's house on Peyton's birthday. He thought it was so special! We had a fun little dinner celebration with pizza and cake. A couple of his second cousins were able to attend, along with his great grandparents, and great aunt and uncle.
He had a batman cake at his request
Just love this happy little guy!
Me and my buddy!
