We left Monday morning and arrived at our hotel about 3 hours later. We did not stop one time on the drive to Pigeon Forge, which is amazing with three young boys. The boys were so excited to go on their "field trip" that they didn't even want to stop for lunch! Patrick gets extremely car sick, so we can't have the DVD player on for very long. Michael tried to keep the boys entertained by singing all sorts of annoying songs. The song that never ends is always a favorite for them, but here is a new one their dad taught them. Hopefully they don't repeat this song at school....
We checked into our room. We actually changed rooms the second day since there was a problem with ours. These are the pictures of our second room, which was much nicer.
Here is their picture last year. They have grown so much!
Light up juice cup!?! Yes, please!
Then we headed outside to the rest of the island to ride some rides. First up was the ferris wheel.
Then the carousel, which is Peyton's favorite.
Patrick was begging to do the ropes course. Neither Michael or I were thrilled about this option. I was very glad he agreed to do it with Patrick!
The boys cousins came to Pigeon Forge for the weekend and were able to meet up for a couple hours before they headed out of town. They were dying laughing riding the hoping frogs together.
It was a fun first day!
