Right after baseball finished for the season, we headed to Pigeon Forge for our last vacation before the kids head back to school.
The Predators game was on T.V. so we stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings and sat outside to watch the game.
We stopped on the way and visited with Mamaw and Papaw Clancy. It was so great to see them!
We made it in time for a late dinner and swim.
Last ones in the pool for the night!
The next morning was really cloudy and raining. So we decided to go for a rainy morning swim. We were the only ones in the pool for the first little while, which was really nice.
After the rain let up, we headed out for a hike. We stopped at a beautiful overlook.
Unfortunately, the trail was so packed, we could not find a parking spot anywhere. We spent about 30 minutes looking and came up empty. I guess everyone else had the same idea to get out after the rain. So we headed to our trusty spot and did a quick hike and let the kids play for a long time in the water. They loved it.
We ate nightly s'mores at the resort and it was definitely a highlight for the kids.
It was a great start to our end of summer vacation!
