We headed to Gatlinburg late Monday afternoon. We arrived at the Margaritaville resort around bed time and let the kids swim in the pool to burn off some energy. It was a little chilly, but they still had a great time.
We headed to Soaky Mountain on Tuesday morning. We spent the whole day swimming and riding all of the water slides. We rented a cabana and it was a great place for Caitie to take a nap. It wasn't very sunny, so it was a little bit cold in some of the pools. Unfortunately it started storming for the last hour or we would have stayed until it closed! We had a great day!
The next morning was very rainy. We attempted to go to the aquarium but it was packed. We walked around the strip and then went to lunch.
We headed to the Smoky Mountain visitor center to get our passport stamp and to hike a very short waterfall trail. We hiked the Cataract Falls Trail. It was a good trail for young kids!
