Our second day on the ship was an at sea day. We slept in a little bit and had a hard time finding chairs by the pool. The kids didn't seem to mind though. THe boys spent the majority of the day at the basketball courts. Caitie spent most of her time running between the kiddie pool and the bigger pool. She found some sweet friends and had a blast playing with them all day.
Of course they made many trips to the soft serve ice cream machine! We spent all day by the pool and the boys at the basketball court.
We saw a gorgeous sunset from our room.
Caitie and Dad topped off the night with a nightcap, while the boys and I played ping pong.
The next day was supposed to be our day at Norwegian's private island in the Bahamas. However, I woke up multiple times in the early morning to the ship rocking pretty heavily. I had a pretty good feeling we weren't going to be able to get off the boat. They announced that we were going to try and hang out and see if the waves subsided a little so we could take the tender boats to the island. However, the swells were just too high and we weren't able to get off. We were all pretty bummed, but made the most of it with another day by the pool.
We tried to catch the sunset, but it was a cloudy one!
This girl loved putting on pretty dresses and getting ready every night.
We ate at the main dining room, Taste, and had a delicious dinner!
Off to Puerto Rico tomorrow!
