Fall Sports 2020- Baseball, Soccer, Cross Country and Flag Football

We are so thankful for fall sports this year. It kept us busy and the kids schedule looking normal with lots of play time with friends. We told the big boys they could pick two sports and we had Conor choose one sport this year.

Conor played t-ball. He had a game every Friday night in the fall and we all loved spending our Friday night at the ball park. Conor loved it so much. Go Blue Jays!

The older boys loved going to Conor's games too. They had a great time running around and playing football every Friday night.

Patrick signed up as an independent to run cross country with Nashville Youth Athletics at The Hermitage. The parochial league did not have a league this year because of COVID. Unfortunately, Peyton wasn't old enough to compete in the NYA league. Patrick competed with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. He was only able to compete in two meets because we were out of town for fall break. He did amazing in both meets. The course was much more challenging than the typical course he runs, but he improved on his time so much. He didn't practice at all and went out there and gave it all he had, it was really fun to watch.

Unfortunately, I only took one picture of Peyton's baseball season. He had such a great season and really started to crush the ball this year. He loved it!

Patrick's soccer season was not as exciting as it typically is. There was hardly any competition and we easily beat every team by 10+ goals. Most of the kids seem to play travel soccer at this age, so I guess we will have to see if Patrick is up for that next year.

Peyton's Flag Football team was the Thunder this year. He had such a great group of boys playing. They went undefeated in the tournament until the last game. They didn't play their best and ending up losing the tournament game. Second place is just as exciting!

Patrick's played on the Mud Dogs again this year. They were placed in the silver division and won every game by a landslide. For the tournament they were moved up to the gold division. The boys really competed well in the tournament, considering they had not faced much competition all year. I was really proud of how hard they played. They ended the season in 3rd place.

Way to go boys! So proud of your seasons!

The boys had the best cheerleaders this year! These two were so patient and went to so many sporting events. I'm proud of them too!

Exhausted after spending so much time at sports fields! Gotta love a girl that falls asleep holding her football.

Such an amazing season for these boys! Really praying we get to play basketball this winter!
