Peyton played his first season of tackle football with Nashville Catholic. He worked incredibly hard throughout the summer and the first quarter of the school year. Football is a time consuming sport, with practices 4 days a week. I never heard this sweet little boy complain.
They played their first game about a week before school started against Lipscomb. He was a starting lineman. He was so excited that he was a starter. Only a couple other 5th graders started, so this was a really big accomplishment for him. He hardly came out of the game. Way to go Peyton!
He said his arms were a little sore after the first game and I noticed there were bruises down both arms! Yikes!
When Michael couldn't take him to practice the little two and I spent lots of nights doing homework and watching sunsets at Father Ryan on the track.
The team beat CPA for the first time this year. It was an amazing game and Peyton made an incredible tackle!
Michael coached the lineman. I know they really enjoyed doing this together.
Proud of your hard work, Peyton!!
