Minor's 5th Birthday

 Caitie went to Minor's 5th birthday party and it was adorable! She had a blast getting all dolled up!

Adventure Science Center

We always take a trip to the Adventure Science Center every year. This year the older boys complained it was too young for them. However, when we got there they had a blast playing. 

This game is always one of their favorites

   

They spent a really long time in this new area. I was so surprised. I guess racing cars is still fun even when you get older!

Vols National Champions Parade

We were incredibly bummed we couldn't make it out to Omaha to see the Vols in the College World Series Championship game. Michael was at Matthew's bachelor party during the game, so we just couldn't make it happen. He called around lunch time and asked if the kids wanted to go to the parade in Knoxville. We would have to leave in an hour to make it in time. All the kids voted yes, so we hurriedly packed and headed to Knoxville. We made it just in time to drop our stuff at the hotel and then run to the parade!

We met up with the Clapp's to watch the parade. There were SOO many people and it was very exciting! 

We went to Clancy's Tavern to eat dinner after the parade. Then we took a walk around campus to Peyton's Place to have a couple drinks.

We grabbed donuts and had breakfast with Mamaw. Then we headed back to Nashville. It was a very short trip, but I think the kids really had a great time!

Summer Movie

 The kids picked Garfield for the summer movie. We so rarely see a movie, its always really fun!

Vols Watch Party

 The Vols have been doing really great in the college world series, so we had a watch party with all orange themed foods. It was a lot of fun!

Fannie Mae Dees Park

 Every year I try and take the kids to the "Dragon" park. The older boys fought me a little bit on going, but they ended up having a great time. They have recently redone the park and it is really nice. 

It was a great way to spend a beautiful morning outside!

Tennessee Super Regionals

We woke up early the next morning in Cincinatti and headed to Knoxville for the Super Regional game. We were only going to go if we were able to get tickets. We found out that morning that we were able to get 4 tickets. I had packed all of our orange gear just in case! 

The boys had great seats! We found two seats for Caitie and I right before the game started. 

It was SO HOT and the seats are black, so they burned when you sat down on them. Caitie was only able to last for an inning in the sun and then we would have to go and sit in the shade for an inning. It was pretty brutal. For the last couple of inning our seats were in the shade and it was so much nicer!

The boys were so excited to see the players after the game. They got pictures and shirts signed. It was a big highlight for them!

We headed back to Nashville for more baseball the next day. It was a whirlwind of a few days, but so much fun!
