This summer we were supposed to go to a Bourbon house in Kentucky that the boys had big on at an auction a couple years ago. However, we got an email a few weeks before we were scheduled to go that the company that owned the Bourbon house went bankrupt. So, we were without a place to stay. Last minute we decided to go to Churchill Downs to see a horse race and then to a Cincinatti Reds game.
The kids had never been to a horse race, so they were pretty excited.
We met up with the Dunn's and Ellen's
After the horse race, we went out to dinner at a mexican restuarant. We celebrated Michael's birthday.
Then we went back to the hotel and swam in the pool.
Off to Cincinnati tomorrow!
