Peyton's Baptism

Peyton's Baptism was last weekend and we had a great time celebrating with our families! Peyton wore the same beautiful gown that Patrick wore for his Baptism. It is a family gown that Michael's grandmother, mom (and all her siblings), and Michael (and all his siblings) all wore for their baptisms. I was a little afraid that it wouldn't fit Peyton since he is a big baby. But, it fit perfectly! I think if we had waited another couple weeks it might not have fit him! Glad we were able to do the Baptism when we did!

Peyton's expression when Father Mike blessed him with the holy water was priceless. The sweet little boy was totally taken by surprise, so much so that he burst into tears and then continued to cry throughout the rest of the Baptism.

This picture pretty much sums up how Peyton looked throughout the entire Baptism. He giggled all during church and was great for the pictures and then threw a fit for the actual Baptism.

After the Baptism we celebrated with a delicious brunch at Hillwood. It was so yummy and the boys were really good for the brunch!

Beautiful flowers on the table. Thanks Nana for setting everything up!

Patrick hamming it up for the camera. He is loving the whip cream for the waffles. In fact, the only thing he ate was whip cream and fruit snacks :/  I've learned that I have to pick the time and the place for my battles with his eating!

Playing peek-a-boo after his whip cream overload!

Oh Patrick, my wild child!

This precious little boy took a nap in his carrier and then kicked sweetly on the floor while we ate.

I took a few pictures of Patrick while we were waiting for Michael to open the front door for us (Patrick insisted upon going in the front door instead of the normal back door).

Look how green the grass is! So pretty!

And this precious little boy smiled and smiled all day after his Baptism. He must have known it was a special day for him!
