We took an early morning flight to NYC on Tuesday. Michael arranged for a limo to pick us up at the airport.
We dropped off our luggage at the Westin Grand Central and then walked to Times Square to eat brunch at the Stardust Diner. The kids thought the meal was great and loved that all the waiters sang.
We had seats upstairs that looked on the stage below. They also walked all around us and threw confetti.
We walked around times square and went into a few shops. They loved FAO Schwarz.
Then we headed to Hudson Yards to the Edge in Hudson Yards. We meant to book the top of the Rock, but accidentally booked this instead. It was brand new and beautiful!
It was a gorgeous day and we had beautiful views of the skyline.

After the observation deck we went back to the hotel to check in, rest and change for the Broadway show.

Then we went to eat at Junior's. They are famous for their cheesecake. We tried the strawberry cheesecake and the plain. Both were delicious!
Fun first day in New York. The kids were so surprised how much everyone walks in New York!
