Montana and Wyoming Summer Vacation- Jackson, Wyoming (Part 4)

The next morning was the Fourth of July and after such a late night the day before, we slept in a little bit. It was rainy and 55 degrees in the morning when we woke up. We had breakfast at the hotel and then decided to check out the 4th of July parade in downtown Jackson.

It was a little hokey, in my opinion, but Caitie and Conor had a blast trying to catch candy that was thrown out to the kids.

We walked around downtown Jackson a little bit and took a picture with the famous antlers.

We ate lunch at Hatch and then swam at the pool and took a rest when it started to rain a little in the afternoon. After resting a little bit, we walked a couple miles to SnowKing Mountain. The kids had fun playing at all of the climbing walls and riding the cowboy coaster.

That night we headed to Jackson Drug Co, which is a soda shop. The kids all got huckleberry ice creams after their meal. It was their favorite place that we ate on the trip.

We had planned to go back to Snowking Mountain to watch the fireworks up close, but it was still 55 degrees and drizzling and we just decided to watch from our hotel parking lot.

This was the only day of the trip with rough weather. We still had a great time though!
