On the bus ready for our first visit to Magic Kingdom!
We arrived at the Magic Kingdom!
The boys weren't thrilled for a picture and were ready to ride some rides
We headed towards FantasyLand, which is where a lot of the smaller rides are. We rode Winnie the Pooh first. Both the boys loved it! As soon as we got off Patrick got so excited and said "Can we ride another ride?!?!?"
After Winnie the Pooh, Patrick and Michael headed towards the Mine Train. It's a new ride and the wait times are always very long except for early in the morning and late at night. Patrick was just barely tall enough to ride it. I think if he didn't have curly big hair, he wouldn't have made the height requirement! Since Peyton and I couldn't ride that ride, we headed back to Winnie the Pooh and rode it twice while we waited for the boys to finish the Mine Train.
Here is a little picture and video of Patrick and Michael riding the Mine Train. Patrick's first comment when he came off the mine train was that it was really fast. I was worried it was a little much for him, but it ended up being his favorite ride!
Then to meet Alice in Wonderland and the White Rabbit while waiting on our fast pass time.
And then to meet Winnie the Pooh and Tigger
Next was our fast pass to Peter Pan. I was really glad we got a fast pass for this one, because the line is long for Peter Pan. Both boys loved this ride as well!
Next we went to the Monster's Inc. laugh floor. Peyton fell asleep on the way there, so just Patrick and I headed to this one. We waited in line and got all the way to the theatre, but then they had to close it because of a medical emergency. Unfortunately, we never made it back to see the show.
After the failed Monster's Inc. experience we headed to Buzz Lightyear. I rode with Peyton since you can spin your car around. I was so glad I did after watching Patrick and Michael spin like crazy!
After Buzz, we decided it was time to head back to the hotel to take a rest. Patrick took a short nap on the way to the bus and decided not to take a nap the rest of the afternoon. Michael and Patrick swam while Peyton and I rested in the hotel room.

We had desserts with Captain Hook and Schmee. Patrick said that he wasn't meeting Captain Hook because he was bad and that he was just looking at him :)
Then we boarded a boat with Patch the Pirate to watch the fireworks from a Pirate boat.
I didn't get any good shots of the fireworks, but it was beautiful and a really fun experience for the boys!
After we stepped off of the boat we had a surprise visitor waiting to meet us....Peter Pan!
Even though it was 11pm, Patrick was so excited to meet Peter Pan!
It was a great first day at the Magic Kingdom! Up next is Hollywood Studios!
