Patrick played soccer for Saint Henry this year. There were not many 7th graders on the team. He started at defense and then his coach moved him to mid. The coach was always so complimentary of Patrick. He said he was calm in the middle and was such an excellent passer that we needed him in that position. I was so glad another coach said it to him besides me! He is not very confident in the middle (although he definitely should be!). I'm glad he got some extra practice there.
He was also awarded the "all league team". So proud of him!
He was so surprised! He was the only 7th grader on the team to win this award.
Way to go Patrick!
