Our first full day at the resort was full of adventure. But first we woke up to the most clear view of Arenal Volcano. Only about 30% of visitors see the volcano in full view, so we felt very lucky. We had some breakfast bars on the patio.
We decided to stay at the resort and experience Club Rio. The resort has an awesome adventure area and we were excited to experience it. Caitie really wanted to ride horses, so I took the little two to ride horses early in the morning. We saw some monkeys on the way.
Don't be fooled by my sweet old looking horse. This horse only wanted to run. She ran up hills and down enormous hills, it was really an adventure.

After the crazy horse adventure we met up with the big boys and got ready for tubing.
Caitie screamed "best day ever" pretty much the entire tube ride. She loved it!
After tubing we ate lunch at the restaurant on the river. It was really good and probably the best casado I had of the trip! After lunch we relaxed in the hot springs and enjoyed the river. It was such a pretty setting and so relaxing. We really loved it.
After Club Rio we headed back up towards the resort and found their fun slide. The kids went down the slide so many times! They had a blast. And I had fun watching from the hot springs.
Then back up to the main pool and hot springs for a little bit before dinner. I could never get tired of this view. I was so excited that Arenal Volcano was so clear this day. It really made it special.
We ate dinner at the resort and the kids hung out in the kids club. It was a really amazing day!
