Costa Rica- Spring Break 2025 (Part 4)

The next morning, we were checking out of the Springs Resort but first we decided to go and check out their animal sanctuary. They only keep animals that can't care for themselves. So we noticed a lot of the monkey's were missing arms, etc. The toucans were really pretty and the kids were able to feed them.

Then we visited with the monkey's. They were so interactive and we had the best time watching them.

Then back to the pool and hot springs for a couple more hours before checkout.

After checkout we headed in search of my sloth's. It was quite the adventure. We learned it is incredibly hard to spot a sloth on your own! We did end up seeing one, but it took a really long time! Our next stop was Guanacaste which is on the coast and is about 4 hours from La Fortuna. We decided to stop about an hour into the drive at a Cafe that was recommended to us. It had beautiful views of the lake and was really good. 

We made it to Guancaste right after the sun set. Since we didn't know the area very well yet, we decided it was best to go to the grocery and cook in the kitchen. We were ready for the relaxing portion of the vacation next!
