California Trip- Disneyland/California Adventure (Part 5)

We started our morning bright and early. The kids loved to see the hugging bear outside the hotel room every day. Caitie would be yelling "bye bear" for about half the walk to the park every day.

We were at California Adventure before park opening. The kids woke up really early every morning since Nashville time is 2 hours before California. We stood in line for Soarin'. It's not Michael favorite ride, so I rode with the boys. Conor was really funny and narrated the whole ride. He loved it! Caitie waited not so patiently for us outside.

Michael and Patrick rode Guardian's of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout.

Caitie, Conor and I met Queen Anna.

The big boys headed to Radiator Springs Racers, while Conor met Captain America.

We stopped from some churros at the Cozy cone. We got a churro with chocolate and caramel and a sugar cookie churro. They were delicious.

We stopped for a few pictures with Mater

On the way to Pixar Pier we stopped for some Festival of the Holidays treats. Michael and I split a mimosa flight and we all split a huge hot cocoa marshmallow macaron.

We met Buzz Lightyear. Conor said it was the one person he really wanted to meet at Disneyland, so I am so glad we were able to find him!

And of course the big boys had to ride the Incredicoaster again. This picture cracks me up.

On the way out of the park we went to the special Disney Visa cardmember area and met Stitch.

We decided to hop over to Disneyland for the afternoon. We ate grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup at the Jolly Holiday. It was delicious!

We rode It's a Small World, stopped to watch a show at the FantasyLand Theatre, rode Autopia, and the Finding Nemo Submarine. We also visited Star Wars Launch Bay. The Disney Visa special character today was Darth Vader. He asked which one of us would join his team and Peyton immediately agreed to join the dark side. I'm not sure if he completely understood what he was asked though :)

Caitie did not like Darth Vader at all and she was making some really mean faces at him. It was pretty funny!

The boys were dying to ride Hyperspace mountain again, so we rode that again. We also rode Star Tours again and the boys learned that the ride is a little different each time you ride it.

We stopped for a drink and a treat at Alien Pizza Planet

We headed over to Fantasyland to try and ride some of the rides we missed the previous couple days. We rode Snow White's Scary Adventure and Pinnochio's Daring Journey. Then we ate dinner at Red Rose Tavern and tried the Grey Stuff which is much better at Disney World, in my opinion. The park was absolutely packed, so we decided to head back to California Adventure.

We spent the rest of the night riding Toy Story Mania, incredicoaster and Goofy's sky school. It was FREEZING outside and the cast member noticed the two little ones were really cold and gave us a Mickey snuggie on the house.

We wrapped up our trip at Disneyland and had such a great time!
