Boo at the Zoo

The boys decided that our family would be Toy Story this year. They were so excited about it! Peyton asked about 10 times each day if it was Halloween and why it taking so long to be Halloween. Well it was finally time to test out our Halloween costumes for Boo at the Zoo!

Seriously, aren't they just adorable?!?!

We were really excited to see Batman again this year!

Trick or treat trail

Patrick was excited to pet the turtles at the new turtle exhibit. Peyton was terrified.

We always love looking at the flamingo's

Oh Conor. This is pretty typical of him lately. He wants to be completely independent and if anyone tells him where to sit or what to do he has a complete meltdown. It's pretty much a constant meltdown zone over here :/

We went on a Sunday and it was packed!! We were hoping to do more besides trick or treat, but it was just too crowded to do much. I had heard the previous weekend was just as crowded. The boys enjoyed it though, which was the goal! I'm not sure whether we will brave it next year or not, which is a big shame! Hopefully they decide to limit ticket sales next year so it is not so crowded and more enjoyable!

Patrick's First School Field Trip- Gentry Farm

Patrick had his first field trip to Gentry's Farm last week. I was lucky enough to find a babysitter so I could join his first field trip! It was so fun to have time with my big boy and his friends!

The kids rode on a school bus for the first time and had a lot of fun. Gentry's Farm was so organized and really packed a lot into a little bit of time. We rode on a hay ride to go and pick out pumpkins. Patrick was pretty excited he could keep the pumpkin he picked out.

We rode in the hay ride to look at all the cow's and throw them a couple of pumpkins to eat. Who knew cows loved pumpkins? We also looked at all of the other animals and played in the corn buckets. Patrick's favorite part was the hay barrel maze.

They took a quick class picture. Such a precious little class!

Then we had a picnic next to the pumpkins. It was a gorgeous day and such a fun little trip! I had so much fun meeting some of his friends!

Conor- 20 Months

My sweet little Conor is 20 months old!

Clapping for brothers

A day in the life of Conor.....

Beg for a mid morning snack of Rice Krispies and get so excited he might burst with excitement.

There's no way I ate it all?!?

More please....

While mom helps big brother Peyton i'll run in big brother's room and start to play. But, once I get there i'll be so tired from partying all night (and keeping mom awake), i'll promptly pass out on the floor.

Oh Conor! You sure are a handful, but boy do I love you!

After picking up big brother from school, we play and dance in the kitchen. Please ignore my terrible singing voice! Conor just really likes me to sing the Bingo song, ha!

He attended his first Father Ryan football game and probably enjoyed the special ring pop treat the most

Nap time with my buddy

Loves playing at the park

Adventure Science Center

Donuts at the park for big brother's fall break

Don't touch Conor...oh maybe don't eat would have been a better instruction?!?

Fun at the lake. Unfortunately, Conor absolutely hates boats

Learning to fish

Fun with friends

Since having Conor and Peyton both home with me every day, I barely took any pictures of the boys. I'll have to do better next month!  Happy 20 months Conor!

Fall Break 2016

We started off our fall break with a trip to the Adventure Science Center. The kids just love this place!

The mad scientists

We had the laser game all to ourselves this time, which was really nice

This little boy is really into the game!

And my littlest

The next day we headed to Dinosaur World around lunchtime

Then we headed to the lake! We had donuts at the Charlie Daniels park one morning. It is a really big park and the boys had fun exploring it all!

Oh boys!

I'm not sure what to say about this one! Conor is one of a kind that's for sure!

The boys also went fishing with Michael for the first time! Patrick caught two and Peyton caught one. They were both so excited!!

This little guy hates the boat and insists about being daddy's sidekick whenever he is on the boat.

We also had some friends up to watch the UT game. The boys had a blast playing with their friends and playing hockey in the driveway. It is now one of their favorite games!

Our little crew

It was a fun relaxed fall break! I think it was just what Patrick needed!

Dinosaur World

We started off fall break with a trip to Dinosaur World in Cave City, Kentucky. The boys absolutely loved it. It was definitely a little silly for adults, but the boys had a lot of fun.

When we arrived we headed straight to the fossil dig. The boys were allowed to keep 3 fossils. Patrick mostly picked out "Dinosaur teeth" because he thought they were really cool. It looked like Peyton just picked out 3 rocks :)

Next we headed to the Dinosaur path, which is a little stroll through the woods. The path was very shaded and easy to walk. We did not take a stroller for Conor and he was able to walk most of the way.

We saw multiple Dinosaurs along the way. Patrick asked us to read every sign to him and loved hearing about all of the different dinosaurs

Woolly Mammoth

We also got a picture with the big dinosaur. The boys were pretty amazed!

They also loved playing on the dinosaur playground of course

Normally I have to beg Patrick to take a picture, but he was all about pictures with the dinosaurs

Love these two!

ROAAR! Peyton looks like a pretty mean dinosaur :)

Dinosaur World is an hour and a half from Nashville, so we had originally planned to go to both Dinosaur World and then to Mammoth Cave. But, we left a little later than planned and decided we would come back another time. We headed to the lake house after Dinosaur World for a fun fall break!
