Snow and Quarantine

On January 2nd, we were notified that we were close contacted for COVID. On Monday, the day the boys were supposed to go back to school, we had to test the boys for covid.  Conor got a positive result (and had zero symptoms the entire week) and Patrick and Peyton had negative results. Unfortunately that meant we were home and quarantined for the first week of 2022. Not the best way to start out the year!

However, on Thursday and Friday it snowed about 8 inches! We were still quarantined, but enjoyed the snow with just our family of six!

It was fun sledding weather, but also very very cold outside. We didn't have the proper gear yet for the kids and so we could only stay outside for a little while at a time!

This little guy loved the snow and would stay outside for hours by himself, long after his brother's had gone inside. I have no idea how he did it. The rest of us were frozen!

On Saturday all of our basketball games were cancelled so we continued our Marvel movie marathon. We were also officially out of quarantine and braved the icy roads to go out to dinner at Uncle Julios. It was delicious and we were all so ready to be out of the house! We got a chocolate pinata to celebrate! Yum!

It was a fun few days in the snow! Now I am ready for it to melt and warm up!

New Years Eve

After such a fun day the day before at the Music City bowl, we decided to lay low for New Years Eve. We were all so tired! We decided to go to dinner at Ninki for Hibachi with the Dunn's. We all tried to stay awake for midnight, but all fell asleep at 11pm. We were pitiful.

The only picture I took of New Years Eve!

Let's go 2022!
