Snow Tubing and Ice!

The day after Christmas we decided to go out to Opryland and go snow tubing and to see the ice sculptures. The boys took Patrick, Peyton and Harper in the snow tubes.  Peyton and Harper hated it, but Patrick loved it! I think he would have done it all night! Unfortunately Peyton was pretty fussy that night and not feeling well at all so we didn't get many pictures of them snow tubing.

Then we headed inside to put on our parkas and see Ice. It was freezing in there!

Then we rode the trains and had a yummy dinner afterwards.  It was a fun post Christmas activity for the boys!

Christmas Day

The boys were so excited to wake up and see what Santa brought them this year!

Love how excited Patrick is. Everything Santa was so fun and special for him.

Peyton loved dumping out his stocking

The only thing Patrick asked for this year was a blue remote control monster truck. And it was the only thing he did not touch at all on Christmas morning. Michael and I were a little surprised because he was so insistent that Santa get him that toy (and it took Santa's helpers forever to find an age appropriate one!). He loved his tool bench the most out of all of his toys. He was excited to be like daddy wit his tools!

Playing with the new basketball goal

Don't break the ice was another Christmas morning favorite

After seeing what Santa brought, we headed over to the Mulloy's for Christmas morning breakfast and to open presents.

The boys were excited to see Grandma Mulloy!

Silly boys

These three have lots of fun together

Peyton doesn't seems to be thrilled to be the center of the group

Love these cuties with their Christmas PJ's and bed head

Fun with uncle Matt

Mulloy Family

Peyton loves sweeping, so this might have been his favorite toy!

Magnetic letter fun

It was a pretty warm day outside for December, so the boys went outside to play with their corvettes. Peyton got to join in with his present from Santa this year

Love this little guy!

After the Mulloy's we headed to my parent's house to see what Santa brought the boys. It was just too much excitement for Peyton!

It was such a fun Christmas with all my boys! Can't believe there will be another little boy joining our family for the next Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We started off Christmas Eve with chocolate chip pancakes made by Michael.  Then we played and wrapped some last minute presents. Peyton has been really under the weather, so he took a long nap and woke up right before the children's mass. Patrick refused to take a nap because he was so excited. So he ended up falling asleep on the way to mass and woke up and was pretty cranky. Mass was definitely a struggle for us this year!

After mass both the boys fell asleep in the car on the way to my parent's for dinner. Peyton woke up in a very bad mood and wasn't himself the whole night. Getting in his bottom 2 year molars, with a cold and an ear infection has been a really big struggle for the little guy!

These are the best two pictures we were able to get of the Whitson family. The excitement of Santa and opening presents meant they were not willing to smile for a picture!

Peyton perked up for a little bit after dinner

Patrick loved every present he opened and was so excited about opening all presents. I think opening presents might have been the most fun. He opened all of my presents as well as all of Michael's and Peyton's :)

Peyton loves cleaning, so he really enjoyed his mop and broom. And Patrick really enjoyed his new remote control cop car and running it into his brother....typical :)

After dinner and presents Patrick was much more willing to smile for a family picture

After my parents we headed home so Santa could bring all the presents. It took quite a while for Santa's helpers to set up all the toys, 1:30am came a little too quickly!

All the toys set up and ready for the boys!
