Caitie- 2 Months

Caitie is 2 months old! She had her doctor's appointment yesterday and her weight is 10 pounds, 3 ounces (25%) height is 23 1/4 inches (82%) and head circumference is 15 inches (50%). She is almost exactly Patrick's size when he was 2 months old. Peyton and Conor both weighed a couple of pounds more.

She is still rocking newborn clothes. Everything else I try and put her in just swallows her. I barely bought her any newborn clothes, since my last two children were so big and only wore newborn clothes for a couple weeks.

Caitie
Caitie had a busy month with her two big brother's birthdays and Easter. Here she is cuddling with Peyton on his birthday.

She also had her first Easter. We were so busy that I was completely unprepared. We found a dress that fit her the day before Easter. The outfit I had originally ordered for her was so big on her that she couldn't wear it. I also forgot to order her an Easter bonnet. Oh well, next year :)

Her Easter basket

Love her little profile

Love my precious girl

The next day she celebrated her other big brothers birthday and her first movie.

She has started smiling and it is the cutest thing ever! She seems much more observant than her brothers. She doesn't like to just lay flat, she wants to be up and looking at things.  She has started to hate her carseat and being in the car. I think its because no one is paying attention to her. As long as someone is interacting with her, she is just fine. Unfortunately, no one can really interact with her in the car, so she just screams. As soon as you take the carseat out of the car and look at her she coos and calms down.

It has been freezing this April. She is also very cold natured, so she has been wearing fleece polar beat outfits and it's almost May!

Her 6 week pictures

She has already started trying to babble at me. She mimics having a conversation and i'm loving it.

This is how she prefers to sleep...are you seeing a trend?!?

This is the face I get most the time I put her down...yikes!

Her brothers are still so in love with her. Patrick would probably hold her for hours. Peyton likes to hold her for approximately 90 seconds before he moves on. But he talks about her all the time. Sweet little Conor pats her on the head and says "shh shh shh." He is trying his best to interact with her and it's precious. Aside from the first couple weeks I haven't seen any jealousy from Conor. He is very conscious of where she is and makes sure to be careful around her. I have been very impressed. Not a single one of the boys is upset about her getting extra attention.

I am loving having another girl around the house. I just finished up her nursery last week and it's so fun to have all things pink!! We love you baby Caitie!!

Conor's First ER Visit

The big boys were playing with some marbles/magnets and connectors. Patrick told us that Conor ate one of the magnets. I didn't think Conor would eat a magnet, but you never know with a three year old. Since he is not very verbal he wasn't able to tell me if he did swallow the magnet. I called the pediatrician and he said that it was pretty serious if it was a magnet, since it could move his organs. So, we took him as a precaution.

Sweet little boy was not happy about being at the ER. He took a nap sitting up :)

And then decided I was more comfortable

He had an x-ray done and it turns out there was no marble and he did not swallow anything. So a lot of worry over nothing!

Here we are back at home and feeling great! Love this sweet boy!

9 Years!

Happy Anniversary to the most wonderful husband and dad to our 4 little ones! I seriously can't believe it has been 9 years. It's even more crazy that next year will be 10 years! Wow!

Engagement dinner- 10 years ago

A couple weeks before our wedding we adopted these precious puppies. We are really missing our little boy. But our crazy Bailey keeps us plenty busy.

Our wedding day on April 25, 2009

Honeymoon in Turks and Caicos

1st Anniversary Trip to Vegas with a Helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon

Then came our sweet little Patrick in April 2011

Our second anniversary dinner was at Flemings a couple weeks after welcoming Patrick

We headed to Napa with a couple nights in Vegas for our third anniversary. We also went to the Flemings in Vegas.

Then came our sweet little Peyton in March 2013

Our 4th Anniversary, a couple weeks after welcoming Peyton, at Flemings.

We celebrated our 5th anniversary in Napa

But, we couldn't miss out on our tradition, so we went to the Fleming's in Palo Alto, California on our way home.

Then came our third little blessing, Conor, in February 2015

For our sixth anniversary, we had a laid back dinner at Flemings - 2 months after welcoming our sweet little Conor

And our seventh anniversary back at Flemings.

A couple weeks later we continued the celebration in D.C.

We spent our eighth anniversary at Fleming's and then went to L.A. Jackson, which is a rooftop bar overlooking the city.

A couple weeks later I joined Michael for a work conference in New Orleans. We went a little early for a belated anniversary getaway.

And then we welcomed our sweet little Caitie May in February 2018.

Since we have a newborn, we aren't going anywhere this year. But we are celebrating at Fleming's again. Love our little tradition! Can't wait for our big milestone next year!
