Cereal

Conor finally tried cereal this week. He is a very big boy and very satisfied so the doctor said we could wait until 6 months to start if we wanted. I had read a lot of health benefits with waiting until 6 months, so we held off as long as we could.

Ready to try some cereal!

He was definitely not impressed with the cereal and had a disgusted face the whole time

He even glanced at big brother to get his thoughts :)

Ok mom, that's all for now!

He has hated the other two times we have tried cereal, so I am pretty sure we are done trying it! Maybe we will have more luck with the vegetables!

First Weekend at Mulloy Fishcamp

Michael's parents got their boat so we were able to go up to the lake and enjoy some fun on Old Hickory lake. Michael's parents have been working on their lake house since before Peyton was born, so we were excited to finally be able to enjoy it! We haven't had the chance to stay there yet, but the beds are coming in this week so i'm sure we will be up there again soon!

Harper and Patrick were excited to be on the boat

They are so dang cute!

Patrick loved the "G skets" (aka Jet Ski)

Conor's first boat ride, clearly he was thrilled :)

Patrick loves swimming in the lake and jumping off the dock. I was really surprised, since the lake is kind of dirty and Patrick doesn't do well with dirty. Peyton is my timid little boy and is still a little scared of the lake. They both loved the Jet Ski's though….no surprise there. Excited for some summers at the lake!

Tubby Time!

It has been so hot outside that we have been playing inside a lot. The kids love to play in the bath, so if they start fighting a lot or get really bored we have been having fun in the bath while Conor sleeps.

Here are some pictures of my little goofballs

Who's Who

So I loved looking at the pictures of the boys and how similar they looked, so I thought I would do another little fun picture collage of them.

Can you tell who is who at 5 months?

Conor- 5 Months

My sweet little Conor is 5 months old!

He is such a sweet little guy! So happy and just giggles and smiles whenever I look at him! I just love this age!

Conor and I have been pretty glued at the hip recently. He is such a good little buddy when I am with him, but seems to be really fussy when I leave him with a babysitter or Michael. I have only left him a couple of times, but he sure does hate it! He refuses bottles and LOVES to nurse. He is a big eater, just like his brother Peyton was at this age.

He was such a great sleeper up until around 4 months, then he turned into a crazy non-sleeper. Ugh. We are still working hard on the sleeping issues. Although, it has been a little difficult when both of his brothers started to revert in their sleeping habits too. For some reason the big boys have been getting up in the middle of the night which they haven't done in a long time. They have been waking him up screaming for the past couple of weeks.

He is such a big boy! Whenever we go out, people are always shocked that he is only 5 months because of his size and his length. He is so long!

We are waiting until closer to 6 months to introduce solids. He is gaining such great weight and since he is purely breastfed and fully satisfied the doctor said we could hold off until he is a little older, especially since he was so early.

Still can't consistently roll over by himself. He tries so hard, but he just can't make it over his chubby, precious little arms. He loves grabbing his toys and chewing on all of his toys. His teeth have really been bothering him lately. He has been drooling like crazy. I keep thinking that he will wake up and there will be teeth, but we are still waiting!

He has started liking tummy time, but gets a little tired of holding his head up for long. He gets excited about all the cheers he gets from his brother's when he lifts himself up on his tummy.

He also tried out the excersaucer. It was so cute how amazed he was. Just love all these firsts with this precious little boy!

Love those baby blues!

I love you Conor and I am really enjoying my time staying home with you!

Quarterly Update- Patrick

Patrick is such a smart and determined little boy.  He is very headstrong so we definitely have a lot of trouble disciplining him. But, he can definitely be a real sweatheart when he wants to be!

He loves his stay at home days with me and is so excited every morning it is a "stay at home day." He would stay home every day all day playing with his trains and on his ipad if I let him. He is definitely a home body and prefers to be indoors as opposed to outdoors. Although once you get him outdoors at the park, pool or lake, he does fine!

We are still really struggling with his eating. He prefers to drink strawberry smoothies, drink milk and eat crackers (oh and any kind of junk food). Still working on a way to get him to eat a little more!

He really loves his brothers, but he has a hard time sharing the attention with him. We are working on his aggression with Peyton, because he is very rough with him and tends to hit him and push him down a lot. I have noticed that he does this when he is not challenged. The child needs to be challenged or entertained pretty much all the time or else he is very bad. Hopefully this means he will grow up to do wonderful, brilliant things (at least I hope!)

He still doesn't require much sleep, so on the days he stays home can be very challenging for me. He wakes up around 6:30am and goes to bed around 9pm (sometimes later). He rarely takes a nap. So it is an extremely long day with no break.  On the rare days he does take a quick cat nap (about 30 minutes) it is so great and really helps. It is amazing how much you can get done in 30 minutes and feel much more refreshed to tackle the rest of the day!!

And just when you think you are going to kill him (figuratively speaking of course), he looks over at you and says "Mom, I just really love you."  The tough moments really make it all worth it with him when he is his sweet cuddly little self!

Loves hanging out with Matt and Mark

Can't believe how big he is getting! He is so handsome!

Family pic

He loves his cousin Harper and they are the best of friends

So excited about Lego Lightning Mcqueen

Hanging with Big and Allie

Love this precious boy!

He loves to swing and will swing for a long time. Still working on learning out to pump his legs to keep himself going. Seems to be a hard concept for him.

He is such a daredevil. He loves anything that involves running around and being crazy

He was so excited about his cupcake. The boy loves him some sweets

Wrestling is another one of Patrick's favorite things

He can also make a huge mess in a hurry! He loves to learn though!

He loves Conor so much and it is precious! He is always asking to hug and kiss on baby and loves to hold him. Hope they always have this sweet closeness.

He also LOVES swimming and is getting much better. I hope he gets a little less nervous of taking his wings off, but we are working on it.

He wasn't that fond of the beach during the day, so we spent more nights on the beach with him

Seriously, how is he this big already?!?!
