Conor's First Movie

We took Conor to his first movie over the Christmas break.  We walked in right as the movie started playing, so I didn't get a great picture of all three of the boys. But, here is our attempt.

We were armed with our snacks and ready to see Coco!

Conor started out sitting in his own seat and then Michael tried to show him how to recline the seat a little. Well sweet little boy thought he was falling and freaked out. So he spent the rest of the movie switching between sitting on Michael and I's lap.

He did so great at his first movie and sat through the entire movie without a peep! So proud of our little guy!

We had such a great time seeing Coco that we decided to have another family movie night to see Ferdinand a couple nights later. We hardly take the boys out to eat because Conor is a screamer and Patrick won't eat anything at a restaurant. But, we decided to test our luck and try out Carrabbas.

After dinner, we had about an hour before the movie started. We decided to go to Sunnyside and see the lights after dinner. It was the day after Christmas and there were only 2 other people there. It was fun to have the place to ourselves! The boys ran through the pathway a few times to burn off some energy before the movie.

Then we headed to our movie. Conor was so thrilled to be going to another movie. It's pretty fun to be able to bring along the whole family and not worry about a babysitter!

All the boys did so great that we might try and squeeze in another family movie night before little girl arrives!

Matt's Appalachian Trail Journey

Matt has been hiking the Appalachian Trail for the past 6 months or so. He finished a few days after Christmas and Michael went to pick him up and help celebrate. They celebrated with some chick-fil-a and champagne.

Way to go Matt! We are proud of you!

Christmas 2017

We started out Christmas Eve by heading to 4pm mass. Conor was a huge handful! He had taken a great nap and had so much energy. Next year I might try and skip his nap so he falls asleep during church!

After mass we headed to my parents house for Christmas Eve dinner.

Denton and John weren't able to make it this year, so it was a smaller group. We made sure to include their wedding cutouts in our photos!

Love this picture of Conor and Michael

After dinner at my parents we headed home. We put out cookies and milk for Santa, sprinkled reindeer food and carrots outside and put on our Christmas jammies.

Then it was time for Santa to get to work. This isn't even all of our boxes, but I thought it was funny that every single one was from Amazon. We have been pretty busy, so it was all online shopping this year!

Santa set up everything in a little over 2 hours. We didn't have anything really big to set up this year, so going to bed at 1am seemed like a real treat!

Conor loves Toy Story, so Santa brought him his own Woody and Buzz. He also got a kindle fire. He just started to notice that the big boys each have one and was upset that he didn't have his own. He doesn't know how to work it, but it's great for playing movies when we need him to be quiet when out at dinner.

Patrick asked for big Ninjago legos from Santa. He also really loves family game night, so he received a new game that we could all play together.

Peyton asked for a superhero Lego and a walking dinosaur.

For the joint presents, we got them a ball pit, a tabletop air hockey table and a new hot wheels crash set. It was a pretty simple Christmas, but I think they thoroughly enjoyed all of their gifts!

His cheese face cracks me up!

After playing with Santa's toys for a little while we headed over for brunch at Nana and Grumps.

I love how Conor is just beaming at his brothers. He tries to be just like them.

Love these precious little Christmas blessings

We attempted to get a picture with Nana and Grumps

After brunch, we headed over to see what Santa brought to Big and Allie's house. We all took a quick nap and then headed back over to Nana and Grumps for Christmas dinner and family presents.

We had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by lots of family!

Garth Brooks 2017

Michael and I had a night out with great friends to see Garth Brooks. We had really great tickets and ate in the Lexus Lounge before the concert. It was a great night out!

Michael and I both commented that the last time we went to a concert together was Garth Brooks 7 years ago. I was pregnant with Patrick in this picture. Fitting that I would be pregnant again with our last little one. We sure do look like babies!

Christmas Fun

We were out of town for a couple weeks in December, so it made the rest of our December pretty packed. We managed to squeeze in a few Nashville Christmas moments.

We visited with Santa. Sweet little Conor was terrified.

Peyton asked for a dinosaur and Patrick asked for some big legos.

We dressed in our Christmas pajamas, decorated Christmas cookies and decorated the tree.

Patrick made a gingerbread nativity at school with his 5th grade buddy.

Patrick's school made the decision this year that siblings are not invited to class parties in the older grades, which meant that I haven't been able to volunteer. My mom was sweet enough to rearrange her work schedule to watch the little boys so I could attend Patrick's Christmas party this year.

I cannot tell you how excited he was that I was able to go. He was beaming when I walked into the room and kept telling me how excited he was that I was one of the 4 moms that was able to make it.

The played charades and Patrick was so nervous. Clearly, he doesn't understand how to cut down a Christmas tree :)

Conor and I attended Peyton's Christmas party. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures since Conor is not the easiest little one to watch after. We had fun making Christmas trees, reindeer food and nativities.

Sweet little Conor also had a Christmas party. He decorated cookies at school.

There was a big tax bill that was signed, so Michael had to work up until Christmas Eve this year. The boys and I met him for lunch and visited his office. They always think its fun to see daddy at work.

Patrick drew dad a picture on his white board. He was pretty proud of it.

Chippy also came to visit this year. We were about a week late with him and I did forget to move him for about 4 days while Michael was out of town. But, he still did a few mischievous things.

The Christmas season really flew by this year. I'm hoping we can fit in a little more Nashville activities next year.
