It was a really rainy day so we decided to head to brunch and then find some things to do in downtown Asheville. Michael had a few work phone calls so we checked into our hotel so he could have a place to do the calls. After Michael's calls we decided to go to Asheville Pinball museum. We got there right at the opening time and it was already a 3 hour wait! We put our names on the list and headed to French Broad Chocolate for a mid afternoon snack. It was delicious!
We had a little bit more time to kill before the pinball museum and had a few snacks at Wicked Weed Brewery. Then it was finally time for the pinball museum. The kids had such a blast! We stayed there for a few hours until close to closing time!
We had such a great time at the "Newsium" as Caitie called it. Definitely a fun place to spend a few hours on a rainy day. We headed to Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company for some late night pizza.
The next morning was Saint Patrick's Day. We slept in a little and then grabbed a coffee and some muffins at Double D's coffee.
Michael's favorite brewery is Highland Brewing. We saw they were planning to have some outside games for Saint Patrick's Day so we headed there to play some frisbee and let the kids run around outside.
After a couple hours outside we grabbed some pizza and some of their specialty Saint Patrick Day treats while we watched the UT basketball game inside.
Next up was New Belgium Brewing. They had cornhole outside for the kids. They ran around and had a blast.
We headed to a cute little taco shop by the river called the White Duck Taco and spent the last night hanging out outside by the river. We had such a blast in Asheville!
