Peyton- 11 Months

I cannot believe it is only one more month until my little baby is 1!

Peyton had a HUGE month.  Not only did he start walking, but he slept through the night for the first time. I don't think it is any coincidence that he slept through the night the day after he started walking! He slept through the night for a week and then hasn't slept through the night since.  Once we get his ears cleared up I think he will continually do it!

His ears have really been bothering him and we cannot get rid of his ear infections no matter what medication he takes. So, we are going to see an ENT next week. I have a feeling that it is not actually the drainage in the ear, but that he might have a dairy intolerance. We are both cutting out dairy to see if that is the culprit. I am hoping it clears it up and the ENT has nothing to talk about!

After he took his first steps he decided there was no more crawling and went right into walking across the room. I was pretty amazed that he walked so early! Patrick was an early walker, but I didn't expect it from Peyton! He is so cute and has the widest stance and just wobbles across the room. I can't get enough!

He has started imitating Patrick and is really into rolling cars and playing with trains (as well as ripping the train tracks apart!). Really sweet to watch him try and copy Patrick. He also started saying Pa Pa (for Pat Pat) this month.

He has become a little bit more of a picky eater. He used to eat anything and everything, but has decided he is not going to eat any fruits and has started spitting some foods that he previously liked out. He still eats a pretty good variety of healthy foods so i'm still really happy with his eating.

Love those baby blues

He has eight teeth and really likes to use them! In fact he bites my shoulders all the time! So far he has only bitten Michael and I. Hopefully we can get rid of that terrible habit soon.

And his sweet little features....I could stare at this preciousness all day

He continues to be such a sweet little boy and just giggles at everything.  He loves to cuddle, but he can also be such a tough little cookie! If Patrick pushes him down (which happens quite often with the adjustment to Peyton walking) Peyton does not hesitate to yank on his hair or climb on top of him! He can definitely hold his own with him!

But this is the face we see most often! Love seeing pure joy in this sweet baby. And this is his happy face with a bad ear infection! Just so good natured!

Love you Peyton! Can't wait to celebrate you turning one next month!

Fun at the Park

The weather was beautiful last weekend so we had lots of fun at the park. On Saturday we went after nap and played for couple hours! This was the first time Peyton was old enough to join in the fun!

He loved pulling up the grass

And you can always find Patrick digging for rocks at the creek

The boys had so much fun on Saturday that we decided to pick up donuts for breakfast on Sunday and eat them at the park. Patrick thought it was so fun and told everyone we saw for the next couple days that we ate donuts at the park. On Monday morning he ran in into his classroom and was so excited to tell his teachers about it. Love that sweet boy!

Then Patrick taught Peyton how to go down the slide. For Peyton's first time, he asked if he could hold "baby" and go down the slide with him. It was precious!

Pure joy

Chasing Patrick around the park

Unfortunately we are back to the freezing cold weather.  Hopefully we can get more beautiful spring days soon!

Disney Junior Live

We took Patrick to see Pirates and Princesses (Disney Junior Live show) last weekend. He had a blast! He was a little bored during the princess part, but loved the Jake and the Neverland Pirates part of the show and was so into it! He kept asking questions and was so cute! Gotta love his squinty eye cheese face.

Friday afternoon ice cream treat with my sweet little boys. Do you think Peyton liked it!?

Patrick decided he wanted M&M's, sprinkles and applejacks

A tree fell on our power line in our back yard and we lost power, so the boys jumped in bed with us and we watched a movie on the computer.

Love sweet little moments with these little boys!

Peyton- First Steps!

Peyton took his first steps on February 12, 2014.  Both of my boys seem to be early walkers!  About a week after he took his first steps he started full out walking.  Watch out world, here comes Peyton!

Not the best videos, but shows his first few attempts at walking. So proud of my big boy!

Valentine's Day

I was a little last minute on Valentine's Day this year, so we made a little last minute cards the morning of Valentine's Day (luckily I took most the day off!)

Applesauce Valentine's for Peyton

Cars Valentine's with car stickers for Patrick

Love that sweet little baby face

And this precious little face

Hard to get a picture of this little mover

Sweet little Peyton had to get his ears checked again

Checking out Patrick's Valentine's box from school

Peyton checking it out too

After school snuggles with my big boy

Typical....

Michael and I usually go to the Preds game and Mellow Mushroom, but this year there was no Preds game so we decided to try something new.  We went to Farmhouse and it was awesome!

Such a great day with my boys!

Predators Game

Grumps gave us two tickets to the predators game last weekend. We didn't have time to find a babysitter, so Michael decided to take Patrick along.

Here are the boys in their matching jerseys

They made a stop at mommy's office

Michael said he was really excited to see the lights go off and then the "tiger" come down from the ceiling. He also really liked the cars on the ice (i.e. zamboni).

But I think his favorite part of the game was the popcorn and "womenems" (M&M's). He lasted two periods before it was time to go home and go to bed.

Patrick picked out a hockey puck as his souvenir. He was so excited about it. The puck even made an appearance at church with us the next day.

Happy Birthday Turk and Bailey!

Turk and Bailey are 5 years old!

Here is a little  clip of the Love at First Sight website from the day we came home with "Duke and Daisy". Can't believe how much they have grown!

Bailey is a spunky girl. She is definitely our more challenging dog. She loves to cuddle with Michael. She is terrified of both of the boys and growls really loudly when they get within 5 feet of her. When she gets mad, she doesn't hesitate to show us by running into one of the boys bedrooms and going to the bathroom! But we sure do love that sweet little face!

Turk is our big hearted boy. He begs for pets and wags his tail so hard when you pay attention to him. He is a sweet boy who gets really upset when his sister gets in trouble. He also loves "Who's That"and freaks out when he comes over to walk them.

Turk howling because he is so excited about going on a family walk through the greenway

As soon as you get up from your spot Bailey will run to jump in the warm spot.

Turk tried on Patrick's Mickey Mouse ears for Halloween

These pups don't get as much attention as they used to, but we sure do love them! I can't imagine our life without these two!
