Halloween 2023

This year Peyton wanted to be a riding duck and we were trying to decide what everyone else could be. He suggested that everyone be a bird. It was a different suggestion, but we all loved it. Patrick decided to be a parrot, Caitie a swan and Conor a penguin. Michael was a rooster and I was a flamingo. It ended up being such a cute idea!

This little guy was so funny all night long. He waddled around and ran in the costume and made funny penguin noises. He had the whole group laughing so hard!

Bird of a feather....

Caitie trick or treated with her sweet friend all night.

Caitie was the only one of the kids who could dress up at school. Such a sweet little class!

It was a really fun Halloween. Praying this isn't the last year all the kids want to dress up with Michael and I!

Conor's Flag Football Season 2023

Conor played flag football this fall with the Mud Dugs. Conor is so fun to watch play. He is dialed in every play and is a true little competitor. He is the center for his team and did such a great job. He had a lot of interceptions this year and it was so fun watching his huge smile while playing!

His sweet teammates!

The Mud Dogs went undefeated in the tournament and won it all! So proud of these boys!

We had an impromptu celebration at our house. It was a Sunday night, so waking up Monday morning was a little rough, but totally worth it!

It was a really fun season with a really fun group of boys and parents!

Gatlinburg Tournament

Patrick had an Armada tournament in Gatlinburg. It was the perfect time to go to Gatlinburg, since the leaves were at their peak. Unfortunately, Michael had to stay back with Peyton and Conor for baseball and flag football. We were bummed that the whole family couldn't make it.

Patrick, Caitie and I got in really late Friday night and crashed at the hotel. The next day we played at the most gorgeous fields. It was a real treat!

We spent the whole day on Saturday playing soccer, so on Sunday morning we took our opportunity to go spend a little time in the National Park.

We took a picture at our usual spot. It looks so lonely without the other two!

Patrick wasn't playing until late Sunday afternoon, so we had time to fit in a round of putt putt. Its always the kids favorite activity in Gatlinburg.

It was a fun weekend, but we definitely missed the other half of the fam!

Fall Break 2023 (Part 4)- Lucky Ladd Farm and Pins Mechanical

Later in the week the kids and I headed to Lucky Ladd Farm. We had such a blast. We spent about 3 hours there and the kids could have stayed longer.

The maze is always a favorite. This was actually a pretty tricky maze!

The kids really loved these little games. They were tricky and so they kept the older kids attention really well. They love a challenge!

Michael had been working a good bit, so we decided to meet him downtown on a Friday afternoon at Pins Mechanical. We all had a blast with the mini bowling. Patrick separated the growth plates in his right arm from a baseball injury and had to bowl left handed. He won both games and we were very impressed!

We had a fun fall break staycation!
