Peyton- 11 Months

I cannot believe it is only one more month until my little baby is 1!

Peyton had a HUGE month.  Not only did he start walking, but he slept through the night for the first time. I don't think it is any coincidence that he slept through the night the day after he started walking! He slept through the night for a week and then hasn't slept through the night since.  Once we get his ears cleared up I think he will continually do it!

His ears have really been bothering him and we cannot get rid of his ear infections no matter what medication he takes. So, we are going to see an ENT next week. I have a feeling that it is not actually the drainage in the ear, but that he might have a dairy intolerance. We are both cutting out dairy to see if that is the culprit. I am hoping it clears it up and the ENT has nothing to talk about!

After he took his first steps he decided there was no more crawling and went right into walking across the room. I was pretty amazed that he walked so early! Patrick was an early walker, but I didn't expect it from Peyton! He is so cute and has the widest stance and just wobbles across the room. I can't get enough!

He has started imitating Patrick and is really into rolling cars and playing with trains (as well as ripping the train tracks apart!). Really sweet to watch him try and copy Patrick. He also started saying Pa Pa (for Pat Pat) this month.

He has become a little bit more of a picky eater. He used to eat anything and everything, but has decided he is not going to eat any fruits and has started spitting some foods that he previously liked out. He still eats a pretty good variety of healthy foods so i'm still really happy with his eating.

Love those baby blues

He has eight teeth and really likes to use them! In fact he bites my shoulders all the time! So far he has only bitten Michael and I. Hopefully we can get rid of that terrible habit soon.

And his sweet little features....I could stare at this preciousness all day

He continues to be such a sweet little boy and just giggles at everything.  He loves to cuddle, but he can also be such a tough little cookie! If Patrick pushes him down (which happens quite often with the adjustment to Peyton walking) Peyton does not hesitate to yank on his hair or climb on top of him! He can definitely hold his own with him!

But this is the face we see most often! Love seeing pure joy in this sweet baby. And this is his happy face with a bad ear infection! Just so good natured!

Love you Peyton! Can't wait to celebrate you turning one next month!
