4th of July

Michael had the week of 4th of July off of work this year. We decided to spend the first half of the week at the lake. The boys had put "spend a weekend at the lake" at the top of their bucket list. So they were thrilled!  We drove down on Saturday so we could catch fireworks on the lake.

The boys were very excited!

I love watching fireworks on the lake. It's not nearly as loud and it's just gorgeous! It was Caitie's first time to see fireworks. I think her eyes must be sensitive because she didn't want to look at them, but the sound didn't seem to bother her at all.

So pretty with the boat lit up

Cousin Harper

I love her cuteness!

My big boy

And my middle boy

And my little guy!

And precious Caitie

They really love riding on the boat

And little girl loves sleeping on the boat

They spend hours doing cannon balls off the side of the dock

My four precious little ones!

Giggles with daddy

And watching the sunset with mom

On Wednesday morning we headed back to Nashville to catch the 4th of July festivities. We got a rare family picture, with everyone looking at the camera

We watched the fireworks with Big and Allie. Peyton was so exhausted he actually fell asleep during the fireworks. Conor was a little scared of the noise. And Caitie didn't mind the noise, but didn't want to look at them.

The next morning we woke up and went swimming with Big and Allie. These little boys are daredevils. They make me a little nervous going off of the high dive!

It was a fun 4th of July week! It made it extra special that Michael was home for the week!
