Orange Beach Summer Vacation (Part 1)

We decided to take a beach vacation this year with just our family of 6. We have never taken a beach vacation with our little family so we were all excited. We booked a great deal at a condo in Orange Beach. The location was wonderful! It was right on the beach, with a great pool and a splash pad. We were on the 15th floor, which is the top floor. The view was beautiful! The condo building was pretty old and our room wasn't the nicest we have ever had, but it worked really well for an affordable family vacation!

The drive down was great. We only stopped one time and we made it pretty quickly. We checked into our room and headed straight for the splash pad.

Love when I catch the boys interacting with her. They all adore her!

We stayed so long at the pool that we tried to go to a late dinner at Tacky Jacks. But, Caitie had enough, so it wasn't the relaxing late night dinner we had planned on!

The next morning we headed to the beach mid-morning. Our condo was right on the beach, so it was really convenient. We rented loungers for the week. It was so nice to not have to set anything up!

Caitie and I hung out in the shade, while the boys played in the sand and threw lacrosse

We took a break for lunch and then headed to the pool and splash pad in the afternoon. Caitie went down this slide probably 150 times during the week. But, she never had to go by herself. All the boys were so concerned that she would hurt herself. So they ran back and forth in between running through the splash pad making sure that she never went down the slide by herself. It was absolutely precious!

They had a little grassy area next to the pool where we threw footballs, listened to music and played lacrosse for a little while.

After swimming we headed to the wharf for dinner. Every Monday night in the summer they have a firework show. We thought we had picked the correct restaurant to watch the fireworks, but we had to walk a little bit during the middle of dinner to see them. It was HOT! But we had a great time watching the fireworks and then dancing to the music at the street party afterwards.

Sweet little Caitie exhausted herself at the beach and pool and fell asleep while we waited for a table.

The restaurant was right on the bay and it was a beautiful sunset. My handsome boys!

Conor wanted a picture by himself

Caitie wanted to join the boys

Caitie was scared, so Patrick held her during the fireworks. So precious!

Dancing in the street!

So much fun with our crew!
