Miramar Beach- Fall Break 2020 (Part 1)

We headed down to 30A for fall break with a few other families. It was a much needed break from school for the kids. Unfortunately, it was a little stressful getting ready for fall break. A child in Peyton's class tested positive for coronavirus a few days before we left and most of the friends in his class were quarantined. Luckily, Peyton sits on the opposite side and wasn't required to be quarantined. We were pretty worried about the possibility he had it since a few of his friends were being tested. Everything turned out great, so I am glad we trusted our gut and went on fall break.

We had a couple of flag football games on Saturday morning and planned to leave straight from the games. We left around 10:00am and hit SO much traffic. It took us about 9 hours. Caitie slept most of the time, so it turned out fine but it was definitely a long car drive. We drove over the bridge at sunset and it was beautiful!

We arrived late and ordered pizza for dinner. The kids had a blast running around and playing hide and go seek. We all slept in on Sunday morning and spent most of the day swimming and hanging out. It was a really cold day and we would have had to wear sweatshirts on the beach. So we opted to just hang out at the house and let the kids swim in the heated pool. We ate a late lunch on the beach and then walked along the beach for sunset. It warmed up a little for the sunset and was beautiful.  The kids had a blast running around and playing in the sand.

Caitie was in Heaven with these two sweet girls. They were so great with her!

Love having a sweet little girl!

We headed down to the beach mid-morning and stayed for the rest of the afternoon.

Hot mess express hates to have her hair done, so she immediately rips it out of the pony tail and always has it in her face!

A fun first couple of days!
