11th Anniversary Trip- Omni Grove Park Inn (Part 2)

We woke up early the next morning to head out for a hike. We didn't have much time, so we only hiked a little bit. We chose the Craggy Pinnacle Trail. It was such a gorgeous trail with all of these twisted, tangled trees.

Each direction you looked there were sweeping mountains everywhere. It was really beautiful.

We definitely want to bring the kids back and explore more of Pigsah National Forest. The small portion we saw was so beautiful.

We had planned to leave and head back home after this hike, but Sharon called and said the kids were being great and we should stay another day. We were both shocked! The Grove Park Inn was a little pricey for a Saturday night, so we checked out and decided we would stay in Knoxville and cut the drive in half for Sunday morning.

We wanted to explore a little bit more in Asheville, so we grabbed a delicious brunch at the Early Girl Eatery. Both of our breakfasts were great. After brunch we headed to Hi-Wire Brewery. It was pretty packed outside, so we just stayed for a quick beer.

Next up was Twin-Leaf Brewery. We had a nice relaxing spot outside and sat for a while just enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery.

Next up was Zillicoah Beer Company. This brewery is pretty out of the way in a more industrial area next to the river. There were tables and chairs next to the river and we found a great little relaxing spot.

Next was Hillman Beer Company which is in the Biltmore Village area. We ordered a couple appetizers and really enjoyed the beer there.

We headed to Knoxville later that night to watch the UT vs. Auburn game. We went to a rooftop bar and watched the game in front of the fire. We had to watch the first few minutes on our phone since the other game ran into overtime.

Gorgeous night to watch a game outside. It was such a fun trip and I am so glad that we were able to get away!
