Arizona Family Road Trip- Spring Training in Goodyear/Arizona Grand/Rustler's Rooste (Part 2)

Our first hotel room was not very clean, so luckily we were able to switch to a new room. Our new room had a great view of the golf course.

We had tickets to an afternoon game for the Reds at Goodyear Ballpark in Goodyear, Arizona which was about a 45 minute drive from our hotel. Unfortunately we had a rough drive. Caitie got car sick and threw up everywhere in the car. All of the boys started fighting and we were really regretting our decision to make the drive to the Reds game. We quickly picked up a new outfit for Caitie at Target and tried to regroup by going to Saddle Mountain Brewing Company before the game.

Michael was in heaven with their flights. Luckily the kids pulled it together and it was a great lunch.

We arrived at the ballpark right when the game was starting. We planned to have seats in the shade because we thought it would be very hot at the game. It was pretty cold and we had to run back to the car to grab more sweatshirts. The seats were really great though and there was no one near us, which is great since we have so many young kids.

We ended up with two fly balls and the boys were so excited! It was a fun afternoon at the ballpark.

Michael and Conor were able to move down late in the game and had such great seats.

This girl was only there for the snacks!

The boys were ready for some fly balls.

We spent the rest of the afternoon at the hotel waterpark. It was freezing outside, but somehow the kids were still able to have fun!

We caught a glimpse of the sunset and it was so pretty over the pool.

The next day was spent at the waterpark at the hotel. It was still a little chilly, so mid-afternoon we opted to go to the small hot tub near our room.

That night we ate at Rustler's Rooste which is at the hotel. It was really great and had the best views!

The view from our table right before sunset.

Everything we ate was delicious. I would highly recommend the restaurant. The kids really enjoyed the complimentary cotton candy at the end.
