Cincinnati Summer Vacation (Part 1)

We didn't have any plans for the Fourth of July this year, so we decided to head to Cincinatti to watch a few games. We had just moved back into our house, so it was a little hectic finding everything to pack. We arrived with just enough time to change and make it to the 4:10pm game against the Braves.

Of course we had to try out the kids center and try to hit some home runs!

We were in the club level and it was awesome! The kids could eat as many hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, pizza, peanuts, and ice cream as they wanted! It was also really nice to be able to go inside and have some air conditioning for a few minutes.

Walking back over the bridge into Kentucky.

The kids went swimming after the game.  And we called it a night. The next morning Conor woke up with pink eye from the Embassy Suites pool. The room was also pretty dirty and we really struggled to get sheets for the pull out bed that night. We decided to move over to the Marriott next door. They didn't have a room ready, so we stored our things until it was ready.  We headed to the game early so the kids could play in the kids center.

Caitie was so excited about her face paint!

Peyton and Conor got their hats signed by Albert Almora Jr. He hit the game winning run against the Braves. The boys were so excited!

I didn't know it at the time, but this little guy wasn't feeling great. Looking back at pictures, I can see it. But he didn't mention anything at the time. These two are always pretty close. She must have known he wasn't feeling well. I love their sweet relationship.

We checked into the Marriott and then headed out to grab some dinner at Montgomery Inn.
