Spring Break 2017- Great Smoky Mountains (Part 2)

On our first full day in Pigeon Forge we decided to try out a morning hike.  We stopped to look over Gatlinburg. It was really sad to see everything that had burned in the fire earlier this year. The boys were pretty amazed.

We hiked up to Laurel Falls to see the gorgeous waterfall. The hike is uphill and 2.6 miles round trip. Patrick loved it and probably would have run up the mountain in no time. Conor made it about a quarter of a mile before he insisted we carry him. Peyton hiked almost the whole way by himself, but went at the pace of a snail and kept saying we should never do this again.

Then we went back to the island to ride more rides for the remainder of our 24 hour pass.

The twist and shout makes me sick just looking at it, but these little guys love it!

We spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool and enjoying some delicious margaritas. It was such a gorgeous day!

Then we spent the remainder of the night looking at the fountains and eating ice cream. Pretty perfect day!  These two little boys remind me so much of each other. So funny that they are standing the exact same way.

Gorgeous day spent with my favorite people!
