10 Year Anniversary Trip- Puerto Rico (Part 3)

On our last day in Puerto Rico we started out the morning relaxing, drinking coffee and making mimosas out of their delicious juice. We checked out and drove to Old San Juan for brunch at Chocobar Cortes.  It is a family owned company that is a bean to bar chocolate manufacturing company. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious.

The waiter recommended the chocolate martini. It was the perfect start to the morning. We both ordered Mallorca sandwiches and they were really good.

After brunch we went to Casa Bacardi. The Bacardi factory provides over 80% of the worlds rum. We walked up to the bar and had our complimentary cocktail.

We signed up for the mixology class and tour.  We took a brief tour of their operations and then learned how to make 4 different drinks.

Our first mixed drink

The mixology class was really fun, but they definitely need to give you more time to drink the drinks. Michael had to drink one of mine and I pretty much chugged the other drinks. Even Michael struggled to drink his drinks which is really saying something!

Our mixology certificates

We decided to bottle our own special reserve rum. We also engraved it with the date of our 10 year anniversary.

It was time to go to the airport after our tour. We were so sad to leave Puerto Rico! It was such a fun trip!
