Zoo Day

Patrick and Conor have food therapy and speech on Thursday afternoons this summer. It is located right next to the Nashville Zoo. It was a cloudy day cool day, that had rain in the forecast. But, we decided to risk it and visit the zoo after their appointments. There was hardly anyone there and it was the perfect day to go!

We grabbed a map at the front and Patrick directed us to all the animals that the group requested. We stopped by the kangaroos first.

Then the alligators

Conor was really excited about seeing the bears.

We lucked out and had one right next to us

They loved climbing on the new bridge next to the monkeys

The flamingos were Caitie's favorite part.

Love this picture of Peyton and Caitie. He was so sweet talking to her about the flamingos.

I thought this picture was so funny. I just happened to catch Peyton and Patrick talking about how the flamingos sleep and doing their flamingo pose.

The boys favorite part is always the playground. We played at the playground for about 15 minutes before it started pouring raining. The rain only lasted about 5 minutes. The whole playground cleared out and we had it all to ourselves after the rain.

We went to see the rhinos and giraffes next

Soaked and exhausted after our fun afternoon at the zoo.
