Fall Break 2022- Blue Ridge Georgia (Part 1)

Our fall break started a few days after returning from Disney. It was a really hectic time and Michael and I were pretty exhausted. Our fall break didn't line up with all of the other schools in Nashville this year, so we had a full day of sports on the Saturday of fall break. I think we played 7 games between all the kids on Saturday. It was a jam packed day. We headed home and packed for fall break and then headed to the mountains.  We made a quick stop at Top of the Rock in Chattanooga to enjoy a nice dinner.

We arrived in Blue Ridge, GA well past midnight. We were so tired!  The next morning we had early reservations for the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. The Blue Ridge railway goes along to Toccoa River and stops in the town that is split between McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhead, Tennessee. Our announcer for our car called himself Woodstock and was a real hippie. He was pretty funny. Our car was definitely the wildest of the bunch.

We stopped at the Copperhill Brewery. The state line runs right through the brewery.

It's a really cute town and the train stops for a couple hours so you can enjoy the town.  When we got back to town we walked around for a few and headed to Tipping Point Brewery. They had cornhole and games for the kids and the parents enjoyed another beer.

Then we headed to Grump Old Men Brewing Company for some snacks and more games outside. It was a nice outdoor venue and the weather felt great.

Then it was back to the cabin for dinner. It was a fun day out in Blue Ridge.
