Spring Break 2024- Norwegian Cruise: Puerto Rico (Part 3)

We stopped in Puerto Rico on our fourth day on the ship. We had planned to just explore Old San Juan, but since the day at the Bahamas was cancelled we were docked longer than expected. We had more time than we had planned on, so we decided to explore Old San Juan and then go to a resort to enjoy the pool for the rest of the day.

We woke up to a gorgeous sunrise over the water.

Michael and I had such fond memories at Quatro Sombras, so we got off the ship and immediately headed for a coffee and ham croissant with guava butter. It was as delicious as we remembered. Next we headed to Chocobar Cortez so the kids could get some breakfast. The all really enjoyed their frozen hot chocolates.

We walked along the wall that surrounds the city. It is so gorgeous!

This was the most narrow house in the world when it was built. The kids thought it was crazy!

We also explored the oldest Catholic Church on U.S. soil.

Walked along the colorful streets

We made it to Castillo San Felipe del Morro. Its a national historic site. It was pretty hot, but we had a great time exploring.

So many pretty views!

After exploring, we headed to the Fairmont San Juan. It was gorgeous inside!

We rented a cabana, enjoyed a delicious fruit tray (so delicious we ordered 2), and had a really great lunch by the pool. The kids had a great time swimming for the afternoon.

We had such a fun time in San Juan!

Watched the sunset over the fort as we departed.

Off to the Virgin Islands tomorrow!
