Patrick's 2nd Birthday

Patrick's actual birthday was on Tuesday, April 2nd. We decided to keep him home from school that day so that we could celebrate. We went to loveless on his first birthday and decided we would make it a tradition! It was also Peyton's first outing out of the house!

Eating fruit snacks and watching Cars at loveless...typical! We ordered him pancakes and of course he preferred the fruit snacks he spotted in mom's purse instead.

After nap time, Michael took Patrick to Cheekwood to watch the trains. He LOVED it!

Here are a few videos of Patrick watching the trains. Patrick calls Percy the train "P" so you will hear him saying P over and over again. Sweet boy!

While Patrick and Michael were at Cheekwood, Peyton helped me bake a cake for big brother Patrick. He also wore his cars outfit just for Patrick!

After Cheekwood we had our families over. Below is the spread that Michael cooked, I was pretty impressed!

It was a rough few days for Patrick (with lots of changes and lots of temper tantrums!), but I hope he felt a little bit special on his birthday!  Happy Birthday Patrick!  We love you!
