Michael's 30th Birthday

Michael turned 30 about a month ago and we had a backyard beer party to celebrate. I think Michael had a great time. Unfortunately, things didn't go as I had planned so I didn't get to participate much in the party. Peyton cried for most the night and then the dogs got out after Peyton fell asleep. But, I think everyone else had a wonderful time, which is all that matters anyway!

I didn't get a family picture or even a picture of Michael and I. Luckily, Sharon took a few pictures of the party, so here are a few pictures from his birthday night!

It was perfect weather and really cooled down after the sun went down. The signs really lit up the backyard for all of the games.

We had a lot of fun games including life size jenga, beer pong, and irish beer tasting. For food we had ham and cheese sliders, pork sliders, mac and cheese, loaded baked potato salad and some fun desserts. I tried to do a lot of beer themed desserts so we had blue moon cupcakes, guinness cupcakes with bailey's irish cream frosting (i.e. irish car bomb cupcakes), beer and brown sugar cookies and chocolate pretzel beer toffee.

Harper and Patrick hanging out with Big. My dad, Sharon and Megan were really a big help with Patrick!

We also had dinner with Michael's family to celebrate his birthday and Patrick had a spend the night with Nana.

Hanging out in Uncle Matt's car. The boys thought it was pretty cool that the Jeep doesn't have any doors.

And just for fun, here is a sweet little video of Patrick wishing Michael a happy birthday.
