Mulloy Disney Trip 2014 (Part 1)

Michael had a work conference in Orlando for a week in early December. A little less than a month before the conference, Michael suggested that the boys and I meet him at Disney World after his conference. I was all for it!!! We figured it would be our last trip as a family of four before baby boy arrives in February.

I knew this trip would be a little hectic. Michael was out of town for two full weeks in November/early December and had been pretty busy leading up to this trip. So trying to prepare for a big trip while being extremely pregnant, taking care of the boys solo a good bit, and trying to fit in work was pretty stressful! Luckily, Michael made most of the big reservations for Disney World, so I could focus on all of the other things we had going on! We didn't have much time to plan, so we flew by the seat of our pants. Even though it was a little hectic and we are still recovering, I am so glad we decided to go. The boys had an absolute blast!! It was awesome seeing Disney World through their eyes!

A few days before the Disney Trip we tried to get Peyton in the spirit of Disney World by talking about Mickey Mouse

Patrick was so excited to go to "Mickey's house" and "Carburetor County." He asked every day leading up to the trip if it was time to go.

While I finished packing the morning of the trip, the boys decided to head into the laundry room and dump out all of the clean clothes. Patrick looks a little worried that he was caught mid-destruction :)

And we are off to the airport! I was definitely a little worried about flying pregnant by myself with these two little rambuctious boys! Security was a little tricky, but we made it! About 5 minutes after we were supposed to board the flight Patrick loudly announced he needed to go #2 (we had already made a trip to the bathroom about 10 minutes before). Luckily the flight was late, and we made it back just in time. I packed a lot of snacks and lots of stickers, which occupied them for a good portion of the flight!

We stayed at the Art of Animation resort in a Cars suite. Patrick is obssessed with Lightning Mcqueen and Tow Mater, so we knew it would be a huge hit! I wish I could have captured his expression and excitement when we arrived, but Michael and I were both carrying too much baggage. It was priceless how he ran around and kept saying "Mom, Dad look at Mater, look at Doc, etc."

Love how excited he is in the picture with Michael below!

Here are a few pictures of our suite:

The table and the couch above both pulled out into beds

There was also a separate bedroom. Patrick loved the cone shaped lamps

After checking out our room, we explored the hotel. The hotel has a Cars, Finding Nemo, Little Mermaid, and Lion King Section. The boys also LOVED the pool.

After dinner, we headed to the pool for a late night swim. It was a little cold, but the boys didn't care one bit!  Patrick swam right out into the middle with Michael (which is why I have no pictures of him swimming!)

After baths we gave the boys their autograph books. Patrick was so excited for his book!

Off to bed for a big day at the Magic Kingdom tomorrow!
