Mulloy Disney Trip 2018 (Part 2)

The morning after Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party we headed for Port Canaveral to go on a 4 Night Disney Cruise on the Disney Dream. No one in our family had ever been on a cruise. I was a little nervous, especially since we were traveling with an infant. Caitie was not excited and screamed the whole car ride from Disney to Port Canaveral. We were all feeling a little stressed when we arrived and second guessing our decision to go on a cruise!

Waiting to board the ship

We arrived at the port and had a pretty lengthy check-in-process. Conor was NOT thrilled and threw a pretty big fit. It really would have been a cool experience since they announce your name as you enter the ship. But, Conor was screaming bloody murder and I just wanted to get on the ship and find him something to do as fast as possible.

We headed to lunch as soon as we got on the ship. We got Conor a lemonade and he immediately perked up and was back to his normal silly little self. The big boys thought it was amazing that they could eat anything they wanted on the buffet. They also thoroughly enjoyed their first few soft serve ice cream cones.

We decided to check out the kid's club after lunch. Once they saw how fun it looked, they were pretty excited to be able to go after the ship left the port.

We swam on the deck for the rest of the afternoon. The boys had a blast swimming and going on the AquaDuck..

Getting in some ipad time before the boat takes off!

We headed to the room to check it out and do the fire drill. Then we headed back up to watch the sail away celebration. The sunset on the boat was gorgeous!

Sailing Away

So pretty

We had the early dinner seating. We were excited to go to our first dinner on the boat. Our first dinner was at Animator's Palate. It was a really cute restaurant and we loved talking with Crush on the big screen. The dinner was a little long for the boys, so Michael took the big boys to the kids club about halfway through the meal.

The big boys stayed at the kids club for a couple hours and we checked out the gingerbread house with Conor.

He saw Donald Duck and asked if he could meet him.

We had asked the boys if they wanted to go to the show or stay in the kids club. They both were really excited about the show and asked if we could have popcorn while we watched the show. I'm pretty sure they were both most excited for the popcorn and not the show. The Golden Mickey's was playing the first night. It was really cute!

After the show we headed back to the room and found a towel animal and some chocolates. The boys thought it was so fun!

The boys heard that Santa was making an appearance on the ship and they begged to go. Conor and Caitie were exhausted, so Nana took the big boys to Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball. They dressed in their Santa pajamas and were so excited.

We woke up in Nassau, Bahamas on Day, 2. We considered doing the dolphin swim at Atlantis, but decided we should wait a couple years. I am really glad we decided to stay on the boat, because there is so much to do! We sat out on the deck for a few minutes and watched the boat pull into port.

We went to Cabanas for breakfast. We had no plans for the day and just decided to do whatever the kids decided. They wanted to swim and ride the AquaDuck. Caitie couldn't get in the big pool since she isn't potty trained. We tested out the splash pad, but it was a little cold and she wasn't that fond of it.  But, she loved catching some sun on the deck and people watching.

Patrick won a frisbee in the kids club the first night and was so excited about it.

We watched the deck the deck Tropical Holiday Party. All the boys were chosen to participate. Conor doing the hula hoop was so funny to watch!

They loved hula hooping with Goofy

And of course they grabbed a soft serve ice cream about every hour. Peyton loved the banana and strawberry flavored ice cream.

And they loved dancing on the deck to all the music. Michael had some fun too :)

We cleaned up for dinner and tried to meet Captain Mickey, but when we showed up he was wearing his Christmas sweater.

Our dinner was at Enchanted Garden and it was probably my least favorite of all the restaurants. We learned that Disney just changed to kids cups without straws or lids very recently. Every single child spilled their drink and two of the adults. It was quite the messy table!

Our server made Conor a transformer mask. He was pretty excited about it!

We took a few pictures on the staircase before the show. Then sent Patrick and Conor to the kids club for the show. They both requested to go to the kids club, while Peyton requested to stay with us.

We watched Disney's Believe and it was amazing! We all loved it! I really wished I had sent the kids to the kids club for The Golden Mickey's and had brought them all to see Disney's Believe instead.

Waiting to pick up brother's from the kids club

Only Conor was ready to go and Patrick begged for a few more minutes. So, we took a little stroll around the boat. Of course we had to stop for some more ice scream (and lemonade for Conor).

We listened to some music in the lobby

Caitie tried out the throne. I think it suits her :)

And our nightly towel animal

It was off to bed for another fun day in the morning!
