Mulloy Disney Trip 2018 (Part 5)

We disembarked the Disney Dream and headed to the Swan and Dolphin for check-in and to pick up our tickets. We dropped off our stuff and then walked to the boat for Hollywood Studios. We were so excited for Toy Story Land! We headed to our first fastpass for Star Tours. Caitie and I made a Starbucks run while the rest of the crew rode.

I wasn't able to find any restaurant reservations in advance, but we really lucked out and walked up to a table at Sci-Fi Dine in. We all enjoyed our milkshakes and burgers.

Fastpasses for Slinky Dog Dash were hard to come by, but I knew we wanted to ride it. So we decided to take the plunge and wait in the line for almost 2 hours. Patrick had lost his Magic Band right before we were going to wait in line and started crying in front of one of the cast members. She gave us extra tickets in addition to our rider switch. Michael, Nana and the boys waited in the line to ride Slinky Dog first. While they were waiting in line, Caitie and I walked around Toy Story Land.

The kids loved the ride!

I rode with the kids next

And then the boys were able to ride a third time, which made the really long wait worth it.

After a couple rides on the Alien Swirling Saucers we jumped in the quick line for Jessie and Woody. We have never met Jessie, so the kids were really excited. Conor was the most excited, but then got tired of waiting in line and refused to get up for the picture. It seemed to be the usual with him this trip.

Oh Conor

We tried to get a photo in front of the Toy Story sign, but apparently our photopass person was the worst!

We had fastpasses for Fantasmic, but we were all so tired we just decided to go back to the hotel and relax. The Swan and Dolphin has some fantastic restaurants. There was no wait at Garden Grove, so we quickly decided to try their character seafood buffet. We met Chip, Dale, Goofy and Pluto. The restaurant wasn't crowded so we had some great interaction with the characters!

Conor had the best time with Goofy

Sweet Caitie was terrified of Goofy

Conor was so excited about seeing the characters. I think having food on the table and not having to wait in line was key for him!

After dinner we explored the Swan and Dolphin pools. The pool slide was closed for the night, but there are so many pools that the kids had fun running back and forth between the pools and the numerous hot tubs. It was pretty relaxing having Caitie take a nap, listening to all the fireworks overhead and having a gorgeous view.

We went to bed early so we could beat the crowds at Animal Kingdom the next day!
