Peyton's Back to School Party (6th birthday party)

We were so busy this spring that we didn't have a free weekend day to have a 6th birthday party for Peyton. He asked about it all summer, so I decided to have a back to school swim party at the JCC for his half birthday. Everyone he invited came to the party and he had such a blast! I'm glad we were FINALLY able to celebrate my middle boy.

It was SO hot that day, so it was a great day to have a pool party. I was busy watching all the kids in the pool and barely got any pictures!

His group of boys is so fun! I love this age!

It was so hot the cake literally started to melt. Even the popsicles we had in the cooler melted! Also, the sparkler refused to lite and the the candles started melting, so he had no candles on his cake by the time we were ready to eat. Luckily Peyton is the most easy going kid and it didn't bother him one bit!

I didn't have much time to plan his party, but I thought it turned out cute. We had pizza, cake, popsicles, pool noodles (flavored twizzlers) and a few other sweet treats. We gave out bubbles for our party favors.

This girl REALLY enjoyed the leftover melted cake!

Happy half-birthday, Peyton! I promise we will have a party closer to your birthday next year!!
