Soundwaves at Opryland

For the past several years we have gone to a waterpark the week before school begins. It's sort of a little family tradition for us. This year we decided to try out Soundwaves at Opryland. It's gorgeous and the kids were so amazed when we walked in.

We started our day outside. The kids played for so long on this slide area.

Love how sweet Patrick is with Caitie.

Next up was the racers. Patrick won the first round.

Michael also went on the terrifying slide where the bottom drops out from underneath you

The boys tried out some of the inside rides while Caitie napped

The rapid river was one of our absolute favorites. We spent hours playing and racing around. Caitie thought it was really great too! We also really loved the lazy river. The music was awesome and it was great to just relax on a tube and float around.

We ended the day in the inside play area. We played until the very last minute.

Love how excited she is!

We ended the day with a mexican dinner. The kids were exhausted and barely stayed awake for dinner.

We only had one room for the night, so Caitie and I headed back to our house for the night while boys had a sleepover.

We started our day outside again. Caitie was terrified to go down the slide, but we finally convinced her. She continued to go down about a hundred times.

We played for a little bit in the wave pool, but the boys decided the waves weren't big enough for them.

We played basketball, played on the lilly pads and the climbing wall.

Nap #2 of the day

I don't normally like to take pictures in a bathing suit, but this little series with Conor was too funny. Just love that little guy.

We stayed from open until close. We had such a blast! It was a great last day of summer!
