Easter (Quarantine Style) 2020

We had a zoom call until really late on Saturday night, so the Easter bunny got a little bit of a late start. We were up until 2am finishing the Easter baskets and cleaning the house in preparation for Easter. It was a little hectic butt all came together perfectly.

Patrick's basket included a Harry Potter lego and lots of baseball cards. He was so excited about the lego set!

Peyton had nerf gun targets and NHL cards. He said his favorite was his NHL cards.

Conor had a batman car and magnatiles. He was jumping with joy for his batman car.

Sweet little Caitie had a few cute items. I had so many things I had planned to get her, but the quarantine got in the way!

The whole crew for Easter!

Caitie immediately went for the water bottle filled with marshmallows and continued to eat the whole thing throughout the day!

I had a little photoshoot in front of her Easter basket. Love that precious smile.

Little girl was all about the candy. I'm honestly not sure she ate anything of substance the whole day.

We had a little surprise for the kids and picked up mini Krispy Kreme Easter donuts.

They were so cute and delicious!

We watched the bishop at 11am mass at the Cathedral. It was definitely a different experience watching mass on the T.V.  After mass, I decided to get all dressed up and take a few family Easter pictures. About midway through getting everyone dressed, I was starting to regret my decision to attempt the pictures. The boys put up a little bit of a fight about changing out of their under armour for a picture. But, I am SO glad we put forth the effort and took the pictures. We got some amazing pictures of our sweet fam!

We had never used the self- timer on our iphone, so this was the first attempt. Oops!

Take 2 was perfect!

And I got a precious picture with my little girl! Love this sweet spunky girl!

Conor did not like that Caitie and I took a picture without him.

Attempt #1 at sibling picture

Attempt #2 was a little better

Love how you can see their little personalities shining through in this one.

As soon as we finished taking pictures, someone knocked on the door and we had a note that we had been egged. It was pouring rain the whole day, but the boys didn't care and ran out to find their eggs! It was such a sweet little surprise!

We all took a little nap and then woke up just in time for dinner.  Michael put pork in the crock pot that had been marinating all day and smelled absolutely delicious! We ordered sides from Cracker Barrel and had a wonderful dinner!

The boys have been loving our family movie nights so they begged to have another one. We let them stay up extra late and watch the movie, Hop. It was a cute movie about Easter.

Even though our day looked very different from previous Easters, we still had a great family day. We are thankful for our families and our health!
